The CPPSA is a non-profit organisation for healthcare professionals who are working, or have a special interest, in child protection in Australasia.
We seek to provide excellence in medical leadership by supporting best practice in the recognition, assessment and trauma-informed responses to children and young people who are maltreated or at risk of child maltreatment.
The CPPSA aims to provide a variety of resources to support professionals working in this area, from those single-handed doctors working in relative isolation to specialist child protection paediatricians working in tertiary centres.
Membership is now open to doctors only. This opportunity will be available to other health professionals in future.
