The CPPSA is a non-profit organisation for healthcare professionals who are working, or have a special interest, in child protection in Australasia.
We seek to provide excellence in medical leadership by supporting best practice in the recognition, assessment and trauma-informed responses to children and young people who are maltreated or at risk of child maltreatment.
The CPPSA aims to provide a variety of resources to support professionals working in this area, from those single-handed doctors and health care workers working in relative isolation to specialist child protection paediatricians working in tertiary centres.
Membership is open to doctors and allied health staff with a professional interest in child protection.
