Join us for the third CPPSA Symposium held from 12-13 November 2026 at the Emporium Hotel, Brisbane QLD.
This year’s theme, #strongersystemssaferchildren, brings together leading voices and practitioners to explore one of the most important challenges facing our sector, strengthening systems to better protect children and young people. You will hear from Luke Twyford QLD’s Principal Family and Children’s Commissioner, alongside a multidisciplinary panel of experts on the topic of child harm in the childcare setting. Legal representatives from the Criminal and Children’s court jurisdictions will engage in a deep dive into challenges faced when providing expert evidence in court, and we will hear about statewide models of care and innovative allied health practice in the tertiary child protection units.
Returning sessions will include curious cases, influential articles, worker wellbeing and emerging research, all designed to encourage practical discussion, shared learning and meaningful conversation.
