Presented by Dr Alice Johnson, this webinar highlighted the medical conditions that can mimic skin and soft tissue injuries in children. Skin injury is the commonest presentation of physical abuse in childhood. Whilst recognition of injury is often straightforward, mimickers may cause diagnostic uncertainty or error. A range of conditions which may mimic skin injury were presented, and pathways for investigation discussed.
